Kids go barking mad
Kids go barking for dog bowl competition!
Arthur Lodge Veterinary Group and the West Sussex County Times are asking local children to create a canine inspired design that can be printed onto dog bowls, then sold in aid of Guide Dogs for the Blind.
Not only will the winner see their design adorned on 100 ‘Canine Cash’ bowls, but they will also receive a fantastic prize and see their school rewarded with £200 for their art department. The dog bowls will then be sold in aid of the charity in the veterinary group’s four surgeries – Arthur Lodge, Horsham; White Horse, Roffey; Downslink, Southwater and Ash Barn in Ockley.
Guide Dogs has been expertly
breeding and training guide dogs for over
75 years, helping thousands of blind
and partially-sighted people achieve independence.
Arthur Lodge owner Julian Peters commented:
“Guide Dogs for the Blind do such fantastic work and provide a lifeline for many people in our local area. The sale of the unique bowls is kick starting our aim to raise enough money to pay for the first year of a puppy’s training.”
