Careers advice for students
The veterinary profession is a very popular career choice that requires a lot of study and commitment. If you are interested in working with animals The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons has a very useful website, with a great deal of information on veterinary medicine and nursing: www.rcvs.org.uk
We have many inquiries from young people who want work experience in the veterinary business. We give priority to older students who are already studying to become a vet and need the experience as part of their course. Having said that we do consider applicants of all ages who want to gain a better understanding of what it is to be a vet.
We have to restrict our intake of younger students due to the large number of applications, but if you are interested please send a covering letter and CV to:
